You know those yard signs and window stickers that say "protected by ADT" (or whatever security system).

Does anyone make one like that says "protected by Glock" with the Glock logo, or Sig? Actually I guess there would be a copyright issue if it used the logo.

I think it would be cool to have a little "protected by glock" yard sign.

Honestly, its a good way to get your house broken into when you arent there.
No need to advertise...if someone tries to kick in the door at 2AM they will find out pretty quickly how your home is protected.

Not the answer you were looking for, but this is the internet

FWIW, A guy I used to live near had a prominent sticker on his front door....

Colt .45 - Is anything in my house worth your life?

To my knowledge he was never robbed.
To each his own.
I prefer not to annouce what a would-be criminal might expect, but thats me.

Plus it could be used in court to make it seem like you're the "shoot first, ask questions later" type.

As much fun as the "driver only carries $20 worth of ammunition" bumper sticker is, I leave mine off.

And then if you ever shoot someone, and draw a DA who doesnt like guns, or is hungry for a big case you will be portrayed as the evil person who was just waiting for an opportunity to slaughter someone

Wouldn't "Protected by General Electric" be a bit more menacing?

Only if you make little mounds all over the front yard, then put the sign out.

How about protected by Arc-light?

I have seen the 'Insured by Smith and Wesson' bumper stickers.

ETA: When my wife and I vacationed in Savannah (sp?), we walked by a house that the owner put a target up of a human sillouette that had about 10 head shots, and about 20 torso shots, all in the black, no flyers.

I thought that was a good deterent.

+1 I load the guns into the truck while it's in the garage with the door closed.  But I'm a paranoid bastard.

So what happens when you shoot an intruder, he is laying on the ground lifting his weapon toward you and you shoot him again?

Seems like the DA is gonna throw the book at you.

At least here in TX, that part in red means the DA lays the book back on the table.

You are in luck there, buddy! I had these made a few years ago and I have one extra left. Send me your mailing address and I'll send it to you for free. Enjoy!!!

I also have a Glock "G" if anyone is interested. Again, these are free. Their taking space in my closet so get them out.!

The white fuzzy stuff is just the film on top. It's a glossy black underneath.

Try....

Can you imagine how fast a person would shit themselves after breaking into a house in the middle of the night, only to be confronted seconds later by the sounds of a chainsaw starting up....the growl growing louder and louder as the homeowner nears?

Make your own-- go to the range, put some holes in a target, and hang that on the door.  Better yet-- use a silhouette target, put most of the mag in the head, then a few in the crotch.

I have a pict of the wife in the early AM before make up that you can hang on door. No one will come inside with that on the door...

I like the idea, but I think you'd be fine with the signs that say ADT or BRINKS on them.  If you want some additional theft deterents, put up some motion activated spot lights.
