I placed a bid on Ebay, it was actually a "buy-it-now" for 12 moving blankets.   After the first week, I asked for a UPS tracking number.  I got a very blunt email, "We emailed you the tracking number".  WTF, if I got the tracking number, why would I be asking you for a tracking number? [rolleyes I send another message through ebay, with no response.

Three weeks past and finally I got my twelve moving blankets via UPS.  That was last week. Today, UPS shows up with another box of moving blankets.  I told the driver it's a mistake, I already got my order and asked if UPS can ship it back.  UPS driver had a good thought and told me to keep the box and make sure I was not double charged.

So, I have the extra box of blankets and I have checked my CC and it was NOT double charged.  So, I call the company and tell them. The lady tells me, "that can't be".
The conversation went back and forth and she tells me "You NEED to send it back via UPS at YOUR expense!. Our conversation went back and forth and she could not comprehend that I should not be responsible for return shipping.  I asked for a supervisor and she said she was the only one in the office.

I ended the conversation that the box will be here for one week and that they could send UPS for a pick up at there expense.  I also told her that I do not authorize another charge on my CC for these additional blankets, as I only ordered and recieved one order.

I don't get the stupidity of some people.

Some people/companies are way too stupid, and sometimes too large to really care about people anymore.

I bought something on Ebay, paid for it and shipping.  The idiots sent it to the wrong address.  I called for a month trying to figure out why I didn't get my package.  The informed me that they shipped it to the wrong place, it got sent back to them, and if I wanted the item that I paid for, I would have to pay for it to be shipped AGAIN!

If UPS does not come within the week, I will consider it abandon property.

Maybe, I should put them on ebay and let them bid on there own stuff.

I am pretty sure if someone sends something to you unsolicited, you are legal to keep it free of charge.....correct me if I am wrong.

EGHEY is just as stupid.

I ordered some wheels for my Willys Jeep and the guy sent me the wrong ones that were completely unuseable. EGHEY's dispute resolution told me that if I paid the return shipping to send them back, the seller would send me the correct ones. The shipping was more expensive than the wheels. The original price with the shipping was still a good deal had the wheels I recieved been what I had ordered.

So who pays for the damn seller's mistake? According to EGHEY the buyer does.

They sure are.  I had listed a nice Hamilton watch, purchased by myself in 1994.  It's near mint condition.  I listed and took pics of the entire watch, the original storage case, box and bill of sale from Fortunoffs.  The box had the Fortunoffs price tag.  Ebay removed my listing stating it was a fake.

But, that's a whole other, aggravating story.
