As you can see by the lower part it almost punched threw. I can feel air blowing threw the base of the impact spot. It was a 1 X 1 in rod of marble, about 8 inches long. It happen so fast, by the time i saw it whizzing toward me, it was already embedded in my windshield.

Now this is a company truck and all is well, but damn man, thankfully i had my sunglasses on and i only got glass in my mouth and all over the cab. that would have sucked to been sprayed in the eyes with that shit.

I drive Rte 95 every day from MD to N. VA and in 2 1/2 years I have had to replace 3 windshields on my Jeep.  Damn glad that rod of marble didn't penetrate all the way through and hit you!

i know this is gonna sound insane, but the 18 wheeler in front of me in the top pic, launched it up from the rear wheels. It hit hard and stuck in the plastic laminate, it only popped out when i pulled over and drove over the rumble strips.
