I need a freeware version of a DFX drawing program

or something that can concvert BMP to DFX

this is for my intro to CNC class...

I think this might help you out.

Alibre design

They have an absolutely awesome freeware CAD program. I have a couple other freeware programs, but I'll have to dig through and find them.

ETA-- If you need any help with the CNC stuff, I'll help with whatever I can. I'm pretty rusty on circular interpolation, but I think I can probably still manage to hammer out some code.

well as long as I can save it as A DFX file it should work

I am using a centroid upgraded mill

with the intercon V1.27 program

it is a INTRO CNC class so

all I want to do is 3X2 inch block of alm....

with an R bolt logo and for raised triangle corners with .380" 1/4 deep hole to put a 5.56 case in each hole
