Basically you're just getting $14 bucks off the trigger guard.

But, instead of bitching, if you don't like the deal, don't get one.

So if one was looking to purchase BOTH of those products you are getting a deal.  I on the other hand am not, so I won't be worrying about it.

I planned on adding the standard magpull to my order as soon as something comes along I can't pass up.
The PRS stock deal was great but I already have the LMT premium stock planned next. I do have last years 20" gov. upper, couldn't resist .    Also a Ar-15 special order 1/7 super light from 2007.

Bushmaster is the reason I went overboard with BRD. Thankyou bushmaster

I did read the original post. Still seems like you're asking us if you screwed yourself.  And, no, I don't care if you screwed yourself. If you did or not is not my concern. But you thought it was a good idea to warn others that you screwed yourself, which is a good thing. But, you should put it in the correct context, i.e. "I could have got a better deal" or "Shit, I think I paid too much for this combo" kind of thing. Don't badmouth Bushmaster for this fuckup you may or may not have made. See what I mean? Don't pay 5 dollars for a gallon of gas and ask us if you should have gotten it for 3.50 AFTER you paid.

No, I'm not missing the point. You bought an item advertised by Bushmaster as on "sale.' You can or could buy the same item for the same or less elsewhere or from Bushmaster themselves. But, you bought it anyway. It's Bushmasters fault. I get it.

you don't get it.  I don't think he's commenting on whether or not it's a good deal, he's saying that it's misleading.

Meh, this is dumb. Seriously, its just dumb.

You don't have to buy it, you don't even have to look.

My take is that they are saying...

TOTAL PACKAGE RETAIL VALUE = $XX.XX

SPECIAL DEAL PRICE = $XX.XX !!!

Whether its accurate or not I don't know... could be a typo, could be their stuff isn't the cheapest in town, could be they simply want to make the deal look better than it is, I don't know. Maybe the employee just misread/misunderstood and put the wrong data, it happens.

I thought the bayonet was selling for "regular price" at $25, Lord knows I would have had zero problem locating one for that price nearly anywhere, I think even CTD and SPG sell em for that price...  but theres no reason to start a thread bitching about it... I just didn't buy it.

ETA: You can't argue that the Magpul stock was a good deal.  That was a decent price break. Whenever I get sales ads, theres one or two things that are good, and a bunch of filler, I don't see why BM should be different... I expect no difference.

I DO GET IT! You don't. Compare BEFORE you buy. Then, you won't be misled.

I don't know how anyone can be misled by a price.

The price is the price, is it a good price? Is it not a good deal? Yes or no, theres no room for leading anyone anywhere in this equation.

You get A + B in exchange for C,
either C is happy or its not.

BTW, a little math shows that there selling price for the MIAD on there site, far removed from the tax day sale goes for $35.95, which is basically a universal price.

The price for the enhanced trigger guard on there site is $19.95...

Soooooooooo $55.90

I guess it could be overwhelmingly confusing for some..........

Exactly, "total package price".

OP seems to argue that only the grip should be listed as the retail price, not including the trigger guard...
because that trigger guard for $20 is supposed to be "free".

This is a semantic argument, a weak one.
The retail price is the "value added" price on the package, a perfectly legit way to show what you're getting in value during the sale... as the two parts otherwise... would cost you... wait for it.... $55.90!!!

And people say that the liberals are professional whiners...

Regular retail price of what you get- 55

Sale price of what you get, - 35

Take some midol and be quiet.

You're getting a $35.95 basic grip kit and a $19.95 trigger guard for $39.00 and you're bitching?

Email Bushmaster or call them out in their forum about it.

You bitched about it and you still bought it?

Oh yea, both Midway and Brownells are out of stock on these items.

Brownells does shit like that... Some of their dealer prices are higher than retail prices.
