I did my taxes online with H&R block Tax cut basic. I am not understanding if the federal tax relief of $600 is included in my estimated refund or if it will be added separately?

It is a separate payment which will go to the direct deposit account you use for your refund...

Unless you're a fossil who asked for a paper check... In which case you will wait a bit longer than everyone else to get your cash...

Thanks for the speedy reply.

In February 2008, Congress enacted a stimulus bill that will send tax rebates (stimulus payments) to many households. We've determined that you qualify for the tax rebate. Who qualifies?

To receive the rebate check, you must file a 2007 federal tax return, even though you aren't normally required to file.

I wish I was getting a "stimulus" check.

But, I guess I'm glad I can contribute to all those filers this year that didn't work or pay taxes.

Not.
