I don’t mean no harm and all, but do you really think it’s proper to comment on the morality of a young lady when you have no way to know how she will act when she grows up? |

Can't argue against that.  I say "damned" above simply because she's EVERYWHERE, but on balance, I'd rather have my little ones watching her ad dancing to her bubble-gum music than to, say, Madonna. |
Precedence says he's right. At the very least, there will be nude pics of her on the web within a few years ala that HighSchoolMusical chick. |

My daughter loves her. One big difference between Miley and the rest of the child disasters is her father. While I still think Billy Ray is a dork, he seems to be a very strong figure in both her life and career. I think that will make a huge difference in how she turns out compared to say, the trainwreck of the Spears family. |

+1 Some of the blame I think belongs on us guys, If we started treating women like ladies and teaching or sons how to treat a lady, and also teach our daughters to demand to be treated like ladies a lot of these problems would go away. |
 Different parents, different music, different associations, different fan base. In fact, even her outfit at the Academy Awards was deemed too "plain." (which made me  , I mean, she's a KID)NOTHING at all to lead to such a comment. Shame on you. |

| My son and I were on the bus going from Disney world back to our hotel, It was the end of the day and everyone was tired. A group of seniors got on the crowded bus and my son and I gave up our seats up to some ladies, while a bunch of other men kept there seats. God Bless the innocents of a 7 yr old, my son in his usual loud voice said "why don't all the boys give there seats to the ladies?" Most of the men just looked down and kept there seats. I replied, "Because they didnt have a Dad like I had.", but what I should have said is "like you said son they are boys." |

She has a father who is active in her life and providing a strong moral center. I believe there is an echo of truth in the Hanna Montana series subplot where Miley's father Billy Ray largely gave up music to raise a family. I have seen this repugnant character aspect in men to include some co-workers where presented a choice, they would rather take off from work and spend time with their personal hobbies than spend time with their sons or daughters. They figure leaving them with their mom is good enough. Another aspect of the decline of civilization. |
