Nice! I've been thinking of giving my old .15 T-Maxx to my daugher & upgrading to a new T-Maxx or Revo 3.3. Is it true you an stand em up at any speed? Break it in by the book with 10% nitro. Drive a nice big circle with steady throttle up & down for 3 tanks not exceeding 1/2 throttle. |
Just put some tape on the areas where it might get scratched or dirty |

Congrats! That`s a nice truck you got there, be patient while breaking it in and you`ll get many hours of fun from it. Damn now I wanna get back into RC-s too. Here`s a few pics of what I used to have: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3616/ofnadominator010medium8jt.jpg Painted that dodge ram body just before I sold the truck. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/4341/jumpxd3.jpg same truck with stock body http://img316.imageshack.us/img316/6818/film004ex2.jpg and hpi savage 25 with ford excursion body. |

I just wonder if you guys put on shop clothes when you work on them! <---stab at airsoft thread! I had a T-Maxx but got tired of fixing it. I purchased a road car and am having lots of fun with it! HPI RS4-.18 SS! |
Really the best way is to let your local hobby shop do it. First time I tried to do it I siezed my engine and had to buy a new one. Don't mess around with it, just let them do it. By the way, nice Revo! I'm thinking of picking one up later his year after I buy my buggy. |

By the way, I apologize for NOTHING! You will have an absolute blast with that. If you have a local skate park I would recommend taking it there and jumping it off the skate ramps. That's a blast! Also, after every run be sure to put after run oil in the carb and work the servo with your radio, and in the top of the engine heat sink. Just take out the glo plug, put 4 drops in, and then with the glo plug out run the starter on it for about 5 seconds. Your engine will love you for it. |

Loki, nice REVO. My wife gave me a Monster GT 4.60SE. Man these nitro trucks scream! I was like a little kid again on X-Mas. Break-in isnt all that bad as long as you are patient. That said, if you lack the time or said patience, then do as Killswitch said and have a good hobby shop do it. Good luck and have fun. |

Also, make sure you get a temperature gun. You don't want those things getting too hot. It'll kill your engine ASAP. And if you are going to have it sitting for more than 3 days be sure to take the fuel out of the tank and fuel lines. It will gum up your engine big time. |
