| If I have a torque wrench (dial indicator or clicker type), how much allowance should I give for the use of socket adapters, bit tool holders or extensions to arrive at the OEM recommended torque specs? More or less? Not enough to matter? |

Unless you have a 3 foot extension, with an adaptor on the end for a different size drive, I don't think there is enough to matter. Just don't ever drop the wrench, slam it against something, or try to use it as a breaker bar (or in reverse). Torque wrenches are precision tools and need to be treated as such, and should be calibrated regularly. |
