Does anyone know a good sight for getting repelling gear?

mountaingear.com has always treated me well for my mountaineering and climbing gear when I worked as a mountain guide. If you are only doing rappelling and not climbing stick with a static rope, this gives you less elongation and lasts longer than a dynamic rope for rapels.

let me know if you have any specific questions.

www.onrope1.com -- These guys cater to the climbing and caving communities.

Try www.cavers.org and check the list of advertisers.  REI is a great company, but not very price friendly.  Campmoor is much better in my estimation!

FWIW: I'm both a climber and a caver, so I have a little bit of knowledge in this area...  Serveral years worth in fact! [;)]
