Bought Radiohead tickets for St Louis today @ 10am...$50 per ticket, + $13 service charge per ticket, + $7 "facilities fee" per ticket. Grand total...$150, or....50% tax. I hate ticketbaster with a passion, every year it gets worse, now we're up to 50% surcharge? "Yes, they deserved to die and I hope they burn in hell!"  Still worth it for Radiohead though. Only 8 tour dates in the US and I get to go to one of them.

i didnt know ppl were still buying tickets to go to actual shows, the new thing everybody is doing online is reselling them on ebay for huge profits. caught a local story a few months back on the news about some woman in the area who made like 50K in profits, but didn't want to really share it with the news but they found out. |
Yeah, that's also bullshit. Even worse than ticketbastard. You have to pay double or triple face value of the ticket to go to a show. I was waiting just before 10 am to buy tickets, I had to try for 30 minutes with "best available" to finally get seats, not lawn, and only scored mediocre ones. I hope all those scalpers get what's coming to them as well. Yeah, I'm pissed. |
