heck is going on with all of these shootings! As the "gun guy" at the mental health agency that I work at (with lots of misinformed colleagues), I'm sure I'm going to be given the "I told you guns are bad and should be banned" lecture.

Yep, and that's what I try to get across by relating stories of the dirtbags that I used to work with at the juvenile detention center that had zero regard for human life. For example, we had some teen-agers that beat down a senior citizen, killing him in the process, for the grand total of $40. I also try to tell them that the police will not be able to respond fast enough to help you should someone every break into your house and that you're best bet is to have a firearm. I back it up with actual stories related to me by friends that are LEO, but they still don't think guns are a viable option. In the end, I tell them just because they don't like guns that shouldn't impact my right to own a firearm for self-protection. |
And to top finish it all off....when your bashing him with his own "mental health agency" issued clipboard say something ironic like... BETCHA WISH YA HAD A GUN NOW!!!!!!! |
Well, it's mostly chicks that I work with, but the few guys that are there are pretty much on my side. |

Step 1- go HERE Step 2- print PDF in the link in step 1 Step 3- When coworker spouts off at the mouth with nonsense refer to printed PDF. Step 4- Show relevant facts from PDF to coworker and ask them to back up their argument with facts as you have done with your side of the argument. Step 5-
