We all like to joke about Glocks, but in all seriousness do all Glock models have KB problems or just those in .40S&W? I can't recall every seeing a thread about a .45ACP Glock going KABOOM or even the 9mm.

nope, mainly the fowtys... all guns can KB if the barrel is obstructed... but the exploding glock stigma mainly follows the "partially unsupported chamber" of the high pressure .40... buy a .45 and be done with all of this nonsense.

Havnt had any issues with my G23. Over 500 rounds downt he barrell.

To the OP.

I've seen a .40 G23 have a case failure before. Gun was fine after a new spring was replaced.

Guy reloaded though.

I have seen a G23, G29 and G30 suffer KB's. The G29 was the worst. It was a LEO's BUG and the frame/mag was in pieces. I picked up a few unfired 10mm rounds later that night while cleaning the range. The 23 and 30 just had a few cracks. All were with reloads. Anyways I am looking to buy a G17 and G26.

I had a G27 KB. I can't blame the gun, I was shooting reloads of questionable origin.

The gun held up well and since then I only shoot factory ammo.

I have a G21C and I only fire factory ammo through it. Never had a single issue with it.

I have many thousands of rounds through my Glock 23 over the past 11 years.
