Everybody keeps saying that one of the reasons McCain sucks worse than Romney is because if there's an amnesty, there'll be 12 million new voters who will go to the democrats. They argue that therefore, to maintain the balance of power, we should elect Romney, a gun-banning POS, on he grounds that he claims he'll be tough on illegals. Basically, we should give up our gun rights to prevent a power shift. So, I have a Machiavellian political ethics question: if demographics are so important, why should republicans be anti-abortion? If liberals want to kill their young, is it not in our best political interests to let them? If we're willing to cut out losses and sell out the second amendment to protect the balance of power, where should we stop? What part of your political agenda are YOU willing to let slip to protect the rest? |
cavvet maybe?
