Do you mean the "Anarchist Cookbook"?
Avoid it, the instructions are so bad that you will hurt yourself.
There are better books on the market, but you best take some advanced math and chemistry to get a better grasp of the subject.

Nope this is something fairly new. Someone was talking to the wife about it at work. Maybe a modern version of the Anarchist Cookbook? Not sure but it sounded interesting.
