Yep, you screw it up, you are only out $10. I can't see spending $80+ dollars on a knife I know I will screw up. I also love the "cutouts" on the handle. You can get a good grip on it.

spyderco military rides on my belt both in uniform and out of it

leatherman charge TTI rides next to it when i am in uniform

both have been damn good tools and have stood up to a beating so good up to this point

Oh trust me, you are packing heavy enough

Maybe a little more PT and you could get by with a smaller knife?

Those would prolly be good if you needed a BBQ spit in a pinch
