If that stuff is an indication of getting pepper spray in your nose,
I think I'll try to remember to cooperate with police.

They advertise that stuff on Howard Stern all the time. It might work, but I will let someone else go first.

I tried it.

Then I had my wife try it.

We both literally shed tears.

I'll have to try it again when I'm actually congested.

Right now, I'm testing for rebound congestion.

You mean tried just for the fun of it?

Not exactly.

I tried it because I wanted a baseline of it's effects.

I got my wife to try it for my own entertainment.

I've been using it for years now, haven't had a sinus infection since.  It takes some getting used to, but I swear by it!!

If you really need to clean out your sinuses, I highly recommend this...

www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100095&navAction=jump&navCount=0&skuid=sku2598244&id=prod2598807

It is simply a saline rinse which literally flushes out your sinuses.  Follow their directions, and it will clear you up in my experience.

My only word of warning is that if you do such a thing by this device, give yourself at least an hour afterwards where you won't embarrass yourself.  This process will inject a lot of solution into your sinuses which of course will work its way out.  Sometimes it just naturally starts leaking out of your nose in a watery mess.  Other times, quite a bit later when you are leaning over, more water will start streaming out of your nose....so...give yourself a bit of time.  It really does work though.

Sounds like fun. That wouldn't work on my wife, as she LOVES the spicy stuff.

I just found this link on a rinse system for the sinuses as well.  Gross and humorous to watch.

I don't have a lot of gunk clogging my head.

I have swollen/inflamed nasal cavities.

I saw an episode of Jackass where Steve-O snorted Wasabi hot sauce.

Looked like fun.

That is what Sinusbuster is good for, reduces the swelling in the tissues.

That is what I got it for.  And also because it claims to relieve headaches.
My wife gets headaches pretty bad at times.  She thinks it is hormone related,
as opposed to allergies, caffeine, etc.

As opposed to the nasal lavage that simply rinses snot out of your head.

Honestly, get a big bowl with warm water, pour in salt, stick your face in it and snort... Clean you right out.

So just a minute ago (day two after buying this stuff)

And I hear my wife screaming "OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD".

I was getting pretty excited.  Turns out she has a bad headache,
and was trying the Sinus Buster again.

60 seconds later, she says the headache is somewhat better.

Waiting to see how she feels in a few more minutes.

I just got the Sinus Buster stuff a few days ago and tried it as an aide to kicking my Afrin addiction.  For that, it worked.  I'm still a bit congested but I haven't had to use Afrin in 3 days.  I haven't tried it for severe allergies or a headache yet.

Afrin isn't supposed to be used for more then a few days.  I can use Sinusbuster as much as I want with no side effects.  But it does take some getting used too, get the plastic spray bottle first, and use small puffs until you get used to it.

Yeah, I know that you're not supposed to use Afrin for more than 3 days.  My sinuses are FUBAR.  It was that or not being able to breathe through my nose.

I got the metered dosage Sinus Buster bottle.  As I said, it helped me break the Afrin dependency.
