I'll be dining there this evening. We're taking the MIL out for her birthday. I'm sure she'll enjoy it, I know I will. Any recommendations? Last time I was there I had the Chicken Marsala. It was very good. |

Last time I went we took the MIL (in Charlotte from NYC, we drove 90 min to meet her there). I was in a moo mood, got a steak. "Ooh, that sounds good, I'll have that too!" All said and done, it was close to $200 for the visit including fuel. Eh, it was good moo... and I don't have to do it again for quite some time.... |
Save the money and buy more ammo... |

The giant burger they have (forget what it's called) is good, but it seems like all of the food is WAY too expensive for what it is. is it just the one I've been to, or are ALL of The Cheesecake Factory restaurants staffed by waiters that are either 1) Really bitchy-looking white women 2) Really West-Hollywood-Type, limp-wristed, faggoty-ass white guys? I'm serious... |
Oh my god, where is the nearest one? I love mean bitches. They're my Achilles Heel. |
I salute you, Sir... throwing yourself on a grenade like that for the sake of the rest of us is definitely praiseworthy. |

Their cheesecake is mediocre at best. this recipe with a pinch of good cinnamon blows them away. you'll never go back.cheesecake |

Well, we just got back a short while ago. It was amazingly yummy. I spent a bit more than I anticipated, but the kids going with us was a last minute addition. I had the Chicken Marsala again, while the wife and my niece split a Chicken Romano & Pasta dish. My two little girls split a Ceasar Salad, and a Pepperoni Pizza. My MIL had an enormous burrito, while her partner ate the meatloaf. A few glasses of wine, a few sodas, and a couple of cups of coffee, and we were stuffed. The portions were very large, and we brought a lot of food home. Lunch for tomorrow! We also bought a whole 10" Banana Cream Pie Cheesecake, which is very good. The bill was $207, for a party of seven. But worth it, because we never go out. (If the kids didn't go and I left out the cheesecake, I would have had it under a hundred bucks.) I also threw my waitress an extra $20 for herself because she busted her ass taking care of us, and I appreciate that. (No wait staff bashing please, I couldn't care less what your fucking opinion is.)All in all, it was a pleasant night out. I'm glad I only do it once or twice a year. |
Portions are big but the quality isn't all that. At least I didn't think so. Last place I ate at that was worth the $ was Seasons 52. |
waiting 45 mins for mediocre food is even worse |
I'm not the kind of person to ever have problems with my blood sugar.... That place fucked up my blood sugar so bad I was a mess for days... I only had half a slice of cheese cake too.. I'm scared to ever try that shit again. I never want to feel that messed up again.

Yep. To everything you just said....

There were NO male waiters that I saw, and all the waitresses were young and large breasted. Except one older woman, who wasn't very attractive. My waitress was a pleasant looking blond girl with a great smile. She never let any of our glasses get empty, and she was at my table every 10 minutes or so to check on us. As far as those who say the food is too pricey.....you should stop eating at Denny's or the fucking Waffle House. Good food, prepared good, in a nice atmosphere is going to cost you a few bucks. No matter what, any HIGHer class restaurant is going to run you some money. I don't care if you get fresh Maine lobster, (market price-$27-35), Prime Rib ($22-27), depending on the size of the cut, or some other fresh Seafood at market prices, (usually around $25). Now, I obviously don't think the food was too high, but the beverage pricees were kind of high, in my opinion. A cup of coffee was $2.95, probably cost them about $.25 in product, and a soda was $2.95, for what amounts to a dime's worth of product,(their cost). I paid $6.50 a glass for two glasses of wine out of a bottle that I could get at the grocery store for $10. So, I guess I'm split of the costliness of the place. I thought the food and my service were great, and the drinks were a little pricey. All in all though, as I said before, it was a good time. |

. The portions are huge and almost all of the entrees are under $20, and many are closer to $15. If you think that it is a ripoff, then provide an alternate since you are so well heeled.
