I wasn't scheduled to work this Saturday night, so I scored tickets to a hockey game. Well, turns out the schedule was royally screwed up, and when the manager fixed it, she put me on that night, without telling me before she decided to do it. I talked to the manager about it after I found out, and she didn't appear in the mood to redo the schedule again, and suggested that I try and find someone to switch. I couldn't find anyone to try and switch with me, so now what do I do? I'm half temped to call off or just blow it off entirely, but then again I like working.  Although, I'm a rent-a-cop, so it's not like I have an uber-important job.Thanks for the help. |

If you allow your boss' fuck up to go unchallenged or you will continue to get walked on and it become progressively worse. In a mature manner explain that you made plans & that SHE needs to correct her mistake in some other way. Be prepared to look for work elsewhere. |
