How do you remove a blood stain from a mattress? For the sake of AR15.com, lets say that my dead hooker had a leak (truth be known, a coworker says her son had a nose bleed on his but I think otherwise.)

What say ARF?

This guy I know, "Moose," makes such problems go away.

Of course, he often causes those problems, but I digress.

You need to scoop up all those little pieces of brain and skull. Get it out of there.

Wipe down the upholstery – now when it comes to upholstery, it don't need to be spic and span, you don't need to eat off it. Give it a good once over. What you need to take care of                         are the really messy parts. The pools of blood that have collected, you gotta soak that shit up.

That said, I've had best luck with COLD water - probably use a toothbrush to brush the fibers of the mattress.

Do NOT use warm or hot water, the stain will set. Cold water only.

About the only useful laundry tip that I know.
