Alright, I tend to be on the side of I don't believe in Ghosts but I have to admit that I've seen some strange things.

When my Grandmother had cancer my mother took care of her in grandma's last days. Mom turned her dining room into Grandma's room and that was where Grandma died. Now, I haven't ever seen a ghost in that house, but I have had things move on me, when I was the only one there. One time everyone was out of town and I was watching my mom's house. I slept in my sister's room and I left my S&W model 59 on my sister's nightstand so that it was in reach. Well, while I was asleep I heard a noise and woke up. When I reached for the gun it wasn't there and I found it laying on the dresser on the other side of the room. OK, not the spookiest story and not one that would convince a non-believer. Maybe I set it on the other dresser and didn't realize it right?

My mom and my sisters have all reported weird and unusual things as well. Shit being moved, noises, my mom has found glass decorations broken in her curio cabinet in the dining room, that sort of thing.

OK, anyways earlier this year my mom got a dog. Well, my mom was telling me tonight that the dog has freaked out several times and just started barking ferociously at the dining room, to the point where the hair on her back was forming a ridge. My mom says that the dog won't go near the dining room now she had to move her food and water dishes to the other end of the kitchen. The dog eats positioned so that it can keep an eye on the dining room. My grandmother died two weeks before Christmas. The dog started acting crazy the first week of December. I guess that where ever the dog goes on the main floor she will not turn her back on the dining room.

So is my Grandmother reaching out from the beyond and scaring the shit out of my Mom's dog?

Animals perceive things that we don't.

Other things they misinterpret.

I hear a baby crying late at night in my house, my 15 mos old is asleep next to my wife and the oldest dog gets up and starts barking in the area I hear the baby crying from.
I have seen a dead Cheif on my ship in the Navy. He turned into a void where no one could get out of, I was going to introduce myself to him since I was cranking in the CHief's mess, but he disapeared. A guy in front of me watched the Chief go into the void also.
Had a ghost ship on radar and FWD and AFT lookouts visually saw a 4 masted ship sailing. Pinged our Sparrow on it and then it disapeared off radar and visual contact.

DONT DENY IT

Nah, I think you misunderstand man, If you've been a naughty boy this is the time of year that Santa sets up his elite surveillance elves, undetectable to human eyes. Dogs notice and get freaked out by them. This is your last chance to be good before christmas...or else...lets just say you better leave out those cookies and milk, and toss in a couple porno mags for good measure. Word is Saint Nick aint been gettin much action lately.

I'm over 30 and I live 1,200 miles from my Mom's house.

If Santa is looking for me there then I am truly living off the grid!

If your grandmother is bothering you, just tell her "hi" and that it's time to go. If that doesn't work it might not be your grandmother. You could always have a priest come in and bless the place.

It's not always bad though. My mother was very close to her grandmother (she'd go there if she had problems at home), who's house had lilacs near it. During times of trouble for my mom (if it's very stressful) our house will smell like lilacs. Not "hey, is that flowers" but "did somebody light 50 scented candles". It calms my mother's nerves, because to her, her grandmother is still watching out for her.
