Tonight thread is all about MiGs.  Fill free to post any cool MiG pictures you have.

I know we have an aviation section here, but this thread is for the everyone to see.

MiG-21s to start off with.

Have no idea what the deal is with this paint job.

Wonder how good these guys hearing is now?

True. But that image you posted is the view of an F-105 guns kill on a MiG-17 somewhere over North Vietnam, not the Phantom.

BTW, the best photos of MiG's are always those with a Sidewinder flying up the ass of them. The only good MiG is a dead MiG.

There's a pic of a Delta Airlines pilot, flying his MiG-21 in formation with a couple of F-16s of the TXANG.

There's also some ol' lady in CT,who has a MiG-17 sitting in a barn, she fires it up sometimes, just to piss off the neighbors.

I was stationed at Tyndall in 95 when we had a MIG 23 in pieces-parts strewn across a hangar floor.  Our AR guys were putting it together as a static display for the William Tell guys...

I remember looking long and hard at the landing gear.   I still can't believe the commies designed something that complicated just for landing gear struts.

Gotta love the 25's.  I never realized how big those bastards were until I saw a stack of them on Al Asad...and realized I could damn near stand in one of the exhausts.

Nice pictures of a Croat MiG-21! (And the red-and-white checkering is part of the Croat coat of arms, so they painted a few trainers and airshow aircraft in the 'Purina' scheme. )

I always loved the MiG-25, especially the little-used very high altitude bomber variants.
(Vanilla MiG-25R)

Though this guy doesn't seem too thrilled with his MiG-25U...

If there was any Russian jet I could own, it would be a MiG-29.  Su-27 wouldnt be bad either, just cost more in the parts department.
