Our labs love to chase the laser dot around the house. This is what happens when our 1 1/2 year old catches it.

This is my quick repair until Mudbug comes over to fix it.

Man....

You should have an in-wall airsoft target installed..

You already have the hole for the trap!

I keep trying to run my pitt's head into the wall, doesn't work.

Labs are hell on house furniture.  Has your pup knocked anything off the coffee table with his tail yet?

Cats don't do that

How's the pup?

Would be worried he'd knock a tooth loose or something.

My Border collie pulled a three foot tear in my living room carpet trying to get the laser light. I was planning on replacing the carpet, just had to do it sooner.

The dog is fine. He hit the wall paws first. He didn't even blink.

My wife was the one pointing the laser. She got mad at me because I wasn't laughing over it.

Here is the offender on the right with our 3 year old. They are both about 70 pounds.

I was about to post that the walls of our house are one of the few things our two black labs haven't damaged, but then I remembered that they had scratched through the dry wall in the garage.

That picture of your labs with the pumpkin got me laughing as well.  We came home one day after Halloween to find our labs sitting on the front porch sniffing one of the pumpkins (the other had disappeared).  Come to find out, they had completely devoured the first pumpkin (seeds and all) and were moving on to the second when we caught them.  They had to stay outside until we were sure they weren't going to puke/crap pumpkin all over the house.

I make my cats jump up the walls to try to chase a laser pointer, I think Lamarr currently has the record of 6 feet or so.

My lab just chewed a hole in the drywall when I was at work one afternoon.

I got a kennel that afternoon

But I have seen a cat jump 3 feet off the ground and snagg the wallpaper, tearing down a 2.5 foot strip. Not my cat, not my wall. My laser pointer.

Thats all? You got lucky.
My Dad had 2 massive black labs when I was growing up.
ate the mirror off of his car
Would pull up rose bushes and chew on them
Ripped up the vinyl flooring in laundry room
unopened coke and beer cans
wood fences
any animals they could catch that werent shot

A 1.5yo Lab isn't really a 'puppy' anymore - try 50-80lb DOG....

ETA... 70lbs... About right....

I'm talking about size/strength-wise, not brains wise... I tend to consider a dog who can lick your face while standing on 2 legs to be pretty well grown up (vs the younger 2' long version)....

My parents own 2 Irish Setters...

My sister owns 2 yellow labs...

I know all about 'puppy-for-life' type dogs...

That's not a puppy anymore, that's a horse.

Our golden will chase a laser pointer, but only slowly. She'll walk after it with her ears perked and this really confused expression.

Our cats are another matter. I've gotten one of our orange tabbies to jump halfway up a wall chasing it.

my lab pup is not a year old yet and is bigger than any lab I have ever known. I was sitting on the patio in one othe wifes wicker couches. He decides to come sit next to me and damn near pushes me out out of the chair. Labs are such good dogs that I did not care. He is very affectionet. Thsi si our first male lab and the wife is getting worried about his equipment since he learning to raise his leg and gravity is starting to affect his equipment.

Are you serious about the Mudbug thing? So that's why his name is mudbug. I'd have never guessed it was in relation to drywall mud.

My Pit does the same thing, except she hasn't put any holes in the walls yet
