The other night I set up with Encryption my Linksys and tonight I try to set up a second computer and no good. Second computer sees the network, but cannot log on. Both are laptops running XP. I do have the key, but can't find the correct sequence to clear up the mis communications. The router does not see an IP for this machine, and my DSL does just fine. Thanks |

correct sequence? I assume you're talking about WEP, and if so, you'll need to enter your WEP key on the problem computer in order for it to work. Did you enable MAC address filtering? If so, you'll need to add the PC's MAC address into the router.... Don't lie...Geek Squad set it up, didn't they?
