AR15.COM

My computer will only log on to mozilla>google> ar15.com.

None of my other bookmarks work. I get an error message on every try.

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at forums.cigaraficionado.com.

   *   Check the address for typing errors such as
         ww.example.com instead of
         www.example.com

   *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
         connection.

   *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

What could it be?

Not really sure but here are the first things to try:

Restart your computer
run adaware/spybot search and destroy
run virus scanner

see if problem persists

Did that.

open your command window and ping www.yahoo.com and see if you get a reply.

start > run
cmd
ping yahoo.com

if you dont get a reply, try
ping 66.94.234.13

if you get a reply using the IP address, your dns needs to be flushed and refreshed.  you might have google and ar15.com in your cache

sounds like no DNS and your working off cached entries.

ipconfig /all

find the DNS server(s) and ping to see if you can get to them

try Internet explorer, if that works then backup your firefox bookmarks and uninstall/reinstall Firefox

And/or you have a connection hijacker.  Malware scans would be good.

I got replies from both of those. The screen didn't stay up. As soon as it was done it went away.

Your machine is able to resolve names to IP addresses and access the internet, so its a Firefox issue and I dont know the solution.
