This is actually one of the saddest videos I've watched in a long time.  This is where America is headed if we don't take action.  You almost want to cry when they take a saw to all those guns:

Seen it, but everyone needs to see it.
Guns are not about sporting, hunting or target shooting. -------->Freedom.

Maybe this has been discussed before, but what would y'all do if a ban comes here? Like in Britain and Australia, would you guys line up and submit your firearms?  I don't want to sound like a toughguy, but I won't hand over my guns. No, I won't shoot it out with the gov't, but I'm not going to tap out to such draconian and BS bans either.

Yeah, that was bullshit when that bitch said they were going to have to give their sport.

Either she knows it and is spinning it, or she doesn't and she is naive to think that the politicians that took her side had the publics best interest in mind.

My guess is she knows it, and welcomes her new socialist overlords.

I think it's proof that there won't be a lot of "voting from the rooftops" when a ban like that comes in.

everyone will be scared they'll be the only one that will do it and when you think about giving up your rifle or spending your life in jail away from your family,  it gets hard to vote from the rooftops.

It's why I get so upset to see gunowners here who won't do shit. Either Join the NRA or join the GOA.

If you have a problem with the NRA,  join them ANYWAY and start screaming to them. They are an elected body, they'll change.

If you hate the NRA so bad, join them anyway and then join the GOA at the same time.

It what I did. A few years back when NRA was showing no interest in black rifles I joined both to cover my bases,  but now on NrA tv and in their mag,  I see TONS of black rifle articles.  They are moving to our side.

Still, every time I see an NRA thread here,  I'll see 60% of the posters bitching about a ban, bitching about hillary, bitching about the 86 ban and bitching how NRA sucks and they will never join them up.

it'll be our downfall as well.

Join the NRA, Join GOA.  Get involved.  I also like CCRKBA because they take it to court! (and are currently involved in the D.C. case).  I send dozens of emails a week to my reps under various addresses and also send a few postcards here and there.  Total time?  about 10 min. a week because I keep cutting and pasting my letters.  If all 80 million or so gun owners did that, they'd be completely buried in emails and mail and MIGHT get the point.

I actually asked Trillian the other day if she agreed with this. She basically told me we'd go down side by side with weapons blazing.

Whether or not I'll have the guts when the chips are down is another matter...

I think I'd rather die on my feet then live on my knees, but we should NEVER allow it to come to that.

Don't worry, we would never stand in line to turn our guns in, and our police would never enforce such draconian laws.

I have also won the Florida lottery 10 times this week.

If it is time to bury them, it is time to use them.

Thats why the ****ers ban them one by one, and grandfather the existing ones.

You have to wonder how a country that stood so bravely against tyranny in so many conflicts, can now be populated by people who are unwilling to stand against it in their own country. I suppose when such tyranny comes to you wrapped in the benevolence of so many social programs, it's not so hard to swallow. Boy, that was hard to watch.

It was extremely hard to watch.  Especially the guy that just had a picture book of guns he used to have-- before they were confiscated/destroyed.
