Discuss... From a cultural arts perspective. Yes, I'm sure many here will say it's teh ghey. So what. My wife likes going to things like Cirque De Soleil, so I snatched up some great seats to a show that's coming to town in a few months. |

Interesting, fascinating I suppose and like clowns give me the fucking creeps. I have nightmares about being sodomized by a guy in blue latex paint who doesn't talk, so the thought of paying $150 for good Vegas seats to that freakshow is not one I'm entertaining real soon. I'd rather watch chinese acrobats do amazing shit to the throbbing pulse of awful french music, thanks. |

Saw the HBO special and thought it would be cool to take the in-laws to. They are from a very small town and enjoy seeing the world and all it has to offer now that the kids are grown and out of the house. Since we live in Kansas City I try to take them to cool places around town to see the interesting stuff, and considered getting tickets for them when they came to town. Then I saw the prices. ![]() Maybe after I graduate.

Heh, you may not be safe no matter where you sit. The guy behind me (20 something rows back) was selected out of the crowd for a little... well I don't want to spoil the fun. Definately, take your wife and have a good time. I caught a show about 10 years ago in bean town and it was a hoot! ETA: The only other show I've seen that beat the BMG was the O in Vegas. That was truly un-fuggin-believable!!!!!!!!!!!! |
If I ever pay for a team membership, this will be my sigline. |

Interesting cultural commentary, especially the bit about continuous partial attention (actually more than just a bit about the subject). I saw it a few years ago in LV and thought it was interesting; going to a show while studying for a Communication degree puts a whole new light on things. We had first row seats in Orlando in August and I ended up COVERED in banana pudding. Everyone around me was fine. I just got lucky, ![]() ETA: Some of the show's themes. |
