Zeiss No Line Bifocal info Zeiss makes the best No line bifocals, also called progressive lenses. Here is info on what Progressives are |
|
Line bifocals. Maximize the usable area that you see through the glasses. The problem with bifocals in shooting glasses for rifles is that they are no where nearly high enough to see the sights unless they are elevated, and at that the optical center needs to be moved closer to your nose. Occupational (upside down) bifocals are better. Shooting glasses (Rangers, Decots) with adjustable bridges are even better. The adjustable shooting glasses for position shooting are work well, and they provide practically no eye protection. My shooting glasses (NYX with prescription inserts) saved my eyes. |
