To two Thanksgiving turkeys that will now go to live at Disney World.

In other news, he still has not issued pardons to USBP Agents Compean and Ramos.

Shit.  I thought you had happy news to share.

Who's bright idea was it to pardon the turkeys anyways?  Seems like such a stupid tradition.  Shall we pardon eggs before Easter and Fir trees before Christmas?
Why don't we pardon the good guys who get screwed by a zealous prosecution and dishonest judge?

I thought this was a bit of good news as well.  He should have shot the turkeys on the white house lawn.  Kinda like sporting clays.

That f'n sucks, after reading the topic and seeing the pics, I thought something had finally been done for theses guys. The problem is, I don't want them pardoned, I want it all overturned and them get their jobs back with backpay and compensation.

Think I can sneak one of these into Disney World?  Always wanted to see those in action.

Jeebus.  The guy sounds like he just rubbed one out in the last 33 seconds.

*Pant Pant*  Cut his head clean off!

If you want to enforce existing laws then how can you support a pardon for these 2 agents.
Obstruction of justice is a crime and a very serious crime when LEO's are the ones obstructing justice. Both were convicted on this charge.

There shouldn't have been anything to obstruct in the first place. A foreign invader was repelled with force. That should have been the end of the story.

I saw on Fox news last night, that the same invader was just brought in on charges of smuggling some 100 kilos during the time that this here case was pending. Or something to that effect. I really expected 25 pages on this subject this morning.

FWIW, from the accounts I've read on this case, back then, and still now, the whole thing all the way around smells fishy as hell. I'd like to know the real story.
