So I'm sitting here watching Invention Nation on the science channel. But first a little background on me: I love the renewable energy boom, the electric car, the rammed earth/strawbale house, solar panels, wind power, renewable/re-useable materials. It all interests me, Not so much for the "save the environment" aspect. I like it because the more self reliant I am, the less money I have to spend, the more time I can spend with my family and doing things I want to do. And of course the more ammo and new toys I can buy. That being said, I fucking can't stand counter culture ignorant smokey headed hippies. But unfortunately thats the kind of crap you have to wade through, to get to the good information on these subjects. Which leads me to watching Invention Nation. This show is about three bobel headed idiots going across the country in a veggie powered van highlighting "backyard" inventors utilizing "green technology". EXCEPT these guys are BORING!!!... Its like they hired a failed highschool age garage band. Most of the show consists of "Uh-- Oh-- Ummmmm-- UhUh coooolllll--". Its almost like watching bevis and butthead do america, but worse. Has anyone else watched this show? |
