I just had a thread deleted, not locked. Deleted, as in gone , never to been seen again.

If you post scat pictures or something illegal or shady it's going to get trashed. If you post about whether an alligator can take a polar bear in a jello wrestling match and it turns into a pissing match it'll get locked.

I got fitty on the polar bear!



I kind of wondered about that myself.  Some threads do disappear seemingly for no reason, but then again, there might have been a post at the end I missed that triggered the deletion.

I wake up trying to figure this out about 3am every morning.

edit I read the thread he's talking about. He posted a thread about software used to copy encrypted dvds and software then someone else pointed out where you could steal the softwared used to steal Dvds and other software-er I mean used to "copy your collection" so that one was pretty far into the "posting about illegal activities" thing.
