How did I ever live without them? These things are amazingly comfortable. I don't think I can go back to cotton. At $16 a pair, they are pricey but they are are so nice.

Well they last a pretty damn long time so the cost makes up for itself in the long run. Im still wearing some that feel like the day I got them and I purchased them a few years ago.

Pretty much all I wear as far as socks go.  They are great.

This is true. Blended wool socks are all I wear and they outlast cotton socks by far. I like the merino wool blends from EMS stores, Bridgedales and of course the Smartwools.

Are you sure?  The socks at Walmart all have some cotton in them.  

I have a bunch of Smartwool socks.  You need them around here.

If by the title smart wool is Merino wool socks , then they sell them in the hunting section, I buy them every year. Made by Wool Rich ...made in the USA

I prefer the "Ingenious" sock.  

Cabelas has them under their own brand, and Ingenious sells them as that.  

They stay up on your legs and hold their shape better than Smartwool.
