Long story.  I have a Dell Latitude 131L Laptop that is running Vista.  I went to AFG a couple of weeks ago, and since some of my e-mails contain info that I'd rather not get out...

I encrypted a folder using cryptainer and moved "my docs" and my .pst file into it.  Then I wiped the free space on the rest of my drive.

Anyway, in order to use Outlook, I would first open the Cryptainer folder (which would create a vitual drive ?) and then start windows normally.  This worked great until I decided to install Quicken.  I got an error message which when researched means "invalid drive".

After fooling around with it, I gave up.  Laetly, I tried to install i-Tunes.  It starts the install process and then says, "invalid drive D:" which is one more drive than I actually have.  If I add a flash drive, it says "invalid drive E:", if I add another, it says "invalid drive F:".

Always one more drive letter than I am actually using.  I moved everything back, and deleted the Cryptainer volume.  I still have the problem.

I know it is probably an error in the registry, but I am lothe to "regedit" without help.

So, help.
