I'm looking for an accurate, reliable wrist watch with both analog and digital display.  I'd like it to have an alarm and date function but no other features are critical.

Not too big preferably.

Any suggestions?

up to $700.  Lower is better if it works well.

I'm liking the Tissot T-touch.  If I had the cash I'd be sporting one.

Casio G-Shock G100-1BV or 2327 not sure which is the model but that's the one in the link I have.  It's not a big giant thing either.

Been wearing it since 2002. (I'm active Marine) With 2 trips to Iraq.

It has two digital times and then the analog, alarm, etc.

Doesn't blind you with the stupid backlight some watches have, instead the l.e.d. numbers light up.

Stays accurate within about 5 seconds after approx 2 weeks. (I'm a communicator so I set GPS time on it so I can quickly load SINCGARS radios without using a GPS, for time hacks for fires etc.)

Great watch. I'm gonna buy a second one.

$99.00

5.11 has a watch out that does ballistic computations. Very cool.

Even better than the GSHOCK mentioned above is this one:

It adds the solar power and the atomic clock sync. Plus, it's better looking. Way cool watch.

Up until you said $700, I was ready to recommend an Omega X-33!

My timex has been 100%  You can get black or white face

Or you can get one that looks nicer that doesn't have a rubber band

I have the 5.11 watch w/ballistic calculator. It also has a digital compass. I really like it!
It goes for about $200, so I hope it lasts for a long time. It seems to be built very well.
So far, so good>

If you get one of the Casios with the triple sensor, don't expect much out of the altimeter or barometer.

I loved my old Freestyle.

I got this one at the outlet, it has indiglo and two time zones, alarms, countdown and chrono. The bezel doesn't turn.
