What about a TV series about the last man's days alone on Earth?

Here are some of my ideas for titles.

"The Omega Files" or "Diary of Despair". If you have any suggestions, feel free to state them.

Pilot: First encounter with "Family".

Second day: Searching for a good hideout & fortifying it.

Third day: Finding a good supply of food & gasoline.

Fourth day: Raiding police armory.

Fifth day: Goes searching for any survivors.

Any idea's for the rest of the episodes? I'm thinking that in the series finale, the hero for some reason gets surrounded by Family & with no hope of escape. He smiles a Cheshire smile. Accepting his fate, he says "Omar Sharreef" before pushing the detonator on his explosive vest that he always wears while he's out of his compound & blowing himself up & the "Family" with him.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I just had another idea for the main character's last line.

"From hell's heart, I stab at thee!" I think this line originated in Moby Dick.

I posted this earlier in the movie forum but I thought it would get more attention here. Any ARFER's here a TV producer?

EDIT: Here is a link to the original thread.

Also have another plot idea. I admit this is nothing like the book but I still think it's a pretty good idea. Maybe with the writers strike coming up, I'll get a chance to sell it.

A group of different people are somehow immune to the virus that has left everyone else dead or like the Family. They try to survive while coping with the loss of their families & friends.

They are a mixed lot with:
1. A retired soldier who's kind of rude but smart about tactics & fortifications. He's the leader.

2. A dentist who's fat but cheers up the other survivors with his positive outlook.

3. A country boy who knows how to rough it & enjoys making the city folk gag when he tries to teach them how to clean animals & other simple survival tasks.

4. A mall ninja. If you don't know what that is, Google it. He's also comical relief. This guy may die soon in the series though depending on the audiences reaction to him. He does get on the nerves of the real ex-soldier giving some jokes there.

5. A auto mechanic who's kept around because of his ability with cars & wiring the generator but isn't trusted by anyone.

6. A housewife who doesn't talk due to her thinking that her family is dead. She's determined to keep on going in hopes that they are alive somewhere. She may get killed off in the season 1 finale after refusing to kill her family when she finds that they are indeed "Family".

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Redcap, I like your cat. Funny.
