SO I have some extra money and decide to buy a handgun and remember CDNNs prices being pretty good, so I go to their web page-

They no longer have any guns listed on their website like they used to

so I download the catalog-

Every single pistol is just marked CALL no price, just CALL!

WTF is going on?

They changed this after a school shooting.  It's a bunch of bull shit and I no longer look at there firearm prices, because they'd have to tell me the price of almost every firearm in there catalog for me to first tell if I am interested.

Damm, they used to have some good deals too.

sh now I gotta think of a gun I want and see if they have a good price?

I think not.

Just get the paper copy.

I've picked up two Sigs from them and couldn't be happier for the price.  Shipped same day for both.

I don't believe that they EVER posted prices on-line for guns.  Everything else, but never guns.

Although in the past, I do think the downloadable catalog did have prices, so I guess that's something they've changed.

The online, downloadable catalogs DID have prices....but like was said, the VT school shooting changed that.

No, they posted prices for some (not all) firearms in the downloadable catalog.  I vividly remember this.  Maybe some enterprising fellow has a copy saved somewhere.

All the old downloadable catalogs had their prices, but their last two havent. It really sucks cause I used to always check them for the going rates on used firearms.

It did, the last few haven't....40 pages of "Call" is rather annoying.

I have used them for ordering several firearms and parts.

Glock mags at the best price and lots of Glock parts at really good prices and yes, they came with free stuff.

M-9 Beretta at the lowest price I found after shopping around. Ordered mags and spare parts for them too. Even had some of my police friends order stuff and added it to my order.

Over $1000 in 3 months, and great customer service and prices. Very happy with them.

Will be ordering from them again as soon as I get back from the Sandbox.

Must have toy's after all.

You can say that again...funny as I was just looking at it earlier tonight and noticed it.  Can't find my fucking CDNN catalog anywhere.  I think the fiance "misplaced" it.

That was/is Century...

CDNN never even had guns on their website, you needed to get the d/l catalog....

I apologize if this has been covered before but what is the reasoning behind the VT shooting   causing cdnn to not publish prices in their online catalog.

They say no-

I added this to my post a few above yours-

They say that it had nothing to do w/ VT and was because dealers/manufacturerrs were complaining about them advertising such low prices, like a MAP kinda deal

Honestly, that sounds more likely.

"I say, good sir, the peasants are in an uproar and my monopoly on firearm sales is being threatened! Unseize me and discontinue such practices of firearm price printing thus that I may continue to market these products at an exorbitant fee without the peasants' knowledge."

Most FFLs think it's their god-given right, and theirs only, to be able to buy at wholesale price.

When the site says "CALL", it means call another business.
Some of us like to know this vital piece of info known as a PRICE,
and in computing FFL fees, shipping, accessories, etc we need that info.
I've been using Centerfire and AIM quite a bit lately.

I get emails from them every month. There are prices for pistols in the emails. The emails usally advertise specials.
