 Falling, buckling and snapping debri, car collisions make explosion noises, why would metal debri from the building be any different. You know you are only aiding the enemy with this shit, right? 3,000 people die, and people use this crap as pure entertainment. Cause it's exciting. Either that or your just to stupid to realize that a 747 flying directly into a building will bring them down. Or they are just to stupid to realize there are threats abroad, and it is some how more comforting to think our own guys did it, and we are immune from foreign attacks. Which one are you? |

Plausible but improbable. Even if they did it was the planes, not the explosives in the basement(assuming they were there, which I doubt) that brought the building down. |
Sure it's possible, but where is your proof? Anything in those vids could have been caused for reasons I already described. I seriously doubt there were any explosives with in the building. |

I didn't watch the video (I've seen enough of that kind of crap), but I love how people claim that they see explosions coming out of the windows as the building collapses, thus proving that it had been previously prepared for demolition. They fail to realize that 1) The jets of air burst out of the windows AFTER the building begins to collapse 2) Each building contains about 1,500,000 kilograms of air, and it was all moved out of the way in about ten seconds. That's bound to do SOMETHING. |
I take it you didn't watch the video. The majority of the comments and opinions were that there were explosions at ground and subllevels right after the jets impacted and BEFORE the towers came down. Those comments and opinions are not mine, but from those who were there at the time it happened. If people want to believe the government report, so they can sleep good at night, so be it. I do know that hot gasses were forced down the elevator wells, so that could have started a fire in the lower levels. |

Yes there were beams. Thats what keeps big buildings up. These beams got really hot from burning debris and jet fuel. They were weakened and caused to buildings to collapse. The buildings collasped downward. This compressed air in the buildings. This compressed air blew out windows and went BANG! really loud. Conspiracy theorists are mostly moronic trolls. I never said the beams cracked. Please learn to read. The beams weakened and caused the collaspe. Try this to learn how: Stand two chairs 4' apart or so. Lay down on them face up. Put 2 bags of cement on your stomach. Light an 1800 dergree fire under your ass with jet fuel and common combustibles like those found in the Twin Towers offices. When the bags fall to the ground You will understand how the metal beams failed. PS: You won't crack or melt!! |
So the heat produced, was evenly distributed on the floor that started the collapse? The beams, the trusses and the pan deck all received the exact amount heat that caused a simultaneous catastrophic failure of all components that held the floor in place, causing the pancake type failure? |

No. Since you already know this didn't happen, we'll deal with your other Q first. Two women on the sidewalk outside the west door of WTC1 (North Tower) were burned by falling, burning jet fuel a few seconds after aircraft impact. One lived, one died. Ten or more people were burned in the southwest corner of the ground floor lobby of WTC 1 within seconds of impact. Sprinklers were activated. Witnesses said a fireball came out of the elevator loobby. The Port Authority Chief of Police, standing in the underground mall between WTC 1 and WTC2 reported a fireball exiting the WTC 1 elevator lobby with people inside it, on impact of the aircraft high in WTC 1. He said the fireball reached ap[proximately halfway to his position, then pulled back suddenly, then two burning people emerged from the elevator lobby where the fireball had been. This was probably an explosive eventm and it did trifgger the fire sprinklers. Later, when tenents escaping the towers were re-routed out through the mall the water was estimated as being ankle deep or a little deeper. At least one elevator around the 47th floor was severed and dropped out of hearing range, banging side to side in it's shaft all the way, per an exiting passenger who then entered the restroom immediately adjacent to the elevator shaft. At least one elevator fell to ground level and had people trapped inside for more than 30 minutes after fire fighter arrival. Structural problems related to impact and fireball alone occurred on floors 23, 43, 46, and 77, probably others as well. Sections of floor in the elevator lobbies were missing, preventing people from cutting across these floors to access stairways. Large and small pieces of burning building were falling outside WTC 1 from impact onward. Firemen had to dodge these, and at least one Indian man sustained head injury requiring 4 hours of emergency brain surgery. Burning debris ignited car fires all around WTC 1, exploding tires before collapse, and gas tanks afterwards. Exploding gas tanks on automobiles was probably the straw that broke the camel's back in the decision to pull back and let WTC 7 burn, though little was being accomplished due to lack of FD leadership, water pressure, communications, truck mounted fire equipment, and low FD morale. TV cameras and moron conspiracists failed to note that there was fire everywhere at ground level, after impact, but before collapse, mostly described as burning building pieces and burning pieces of people, presumed to be jet passengers and/or office workers. They also fail to note that all of the vents opened in anecdotal accounts listed above opened additional floors to the fires, increasing the available O2 budget orders of magnitude over impact floors and impact vents alone. In WTC1, the collapse progression went like this: 1. The airliner severed about two thirds of the north face perimeter columns of WTC1, and one to three critical core columns, just north of core center through the center column of the north face of the core perimeter. Roughly half of the gravity loads previously carried by severed perimeter columns were transferred to other north face perimeter columns, and to northern east and west face perimeter columns, by Vierendiel truss reactions. The balance of the gravity loads shed by severed perimeter columns were transferred to remaining core columns through the 8 truss Hat Truss windbrace integrated into the top ten floors of the WTC towers. Note that at least one critical core column, center north face, was damaged or destroyed on impact, leaving the dual truss assembly of the Hat Truss unsupported and in cantilever action over it's northern half. 2. About 30 minutes prior to collpase, dust explosions were noted on both faces of the northwest corer of WTC1, at floors 90, and 92-98, almost certainly indicating collapse of floor truss systems in the northwest corner of the tower over a near ten floor vertical extent. This left the northwest core column laterally unsupported over the same ten floor vertical span, allowing significant gravity loads imposed on the northern east-west trus assembly of the Hat Truss to be transferred to other core columns, and to the dual truss NS Hat truss assembly previously discussed. At this point, the entire top section of WTC1 is supported only by the east, south and southern half of the west perimeter walls, and by the core columns through the Hat Truss, with two critical columns under the Hat Truss already failed. 3. About 5 minutes prior to collapse, LE helo video and radio traffic clearly indicated a 7 vertical story firestorm on the south side of WTC1. The original fires had split around the central core, met back together on the south side of the core and were advancing rapidly at this point. Pre collapse imagery clearly shows the entire south face buckling inward over several vertical stories, almost certainly indicating floor truss failure over a wide area. 4. Failure of the south floor trusses removed lateral bracing from both the south perimeter columns, and from the columns arrayed on the south face of the core perimeter. At this point, critical core columns in the center of the north core perimeter, and at the NW and SW corner of the core perimeter, are no longer supporting the Hat Truss assembly. Except for the east perimeter wall, only a very few remaining core columns are still capable opf resisting Hat Truss gravity loads. The top 20 stories of the entire building ar perched on the east exterior wall, and one or maybe two core columns. Rapid gravity load transferrals are taking place, failing individual members almost instantly, which then transfer load elsewhere, catastrophic collapse is past the knuckle of the curve, proceeding exponentially. 5. The entire top 20 stories of WTC1 begin moving downwards as a cohesive, but failing unit. It is possible that the upper 20 floors dropped one story and held for a short time, anecdotal accounts report loud noises from the upper extent of WTC1 before progressive collapse accelerated, reminiscient of the booming or pounding that accompanied the collapse of WTC 2. In any event, progressive collapse soon initiated and accelerated, there simply wasn't anything left to hold up the upper block of the structure. 6. As the upper block fell, it encountered resistance at each floor level. This resistance imposed stress on the integrity of the upper block, and was concentrated in the shear connections and shelf plates holding the floor truss assemblies to the vertical columns. Those failed earliest, resulting in an increasingly disorganized mass falling within the perimeter of the outer columns. Put another way, the collapse front inside the building, preceeded the collapse front of the perimeter columns by several floors. This is where most of the tinfoilers get hung up. They saw ejecta jets from windows several floors below the apparant collapse front when viewed from outside, jumped to the "detonation charges" conclusion, and proceeded from there, without understanding any of the physics or failure sequence involved. This is only common sense. The vertical columns will stand without lateral support for several vertical stories, but eventually, they buckle and fall. That's whay you saw the six story columns still standing weeks after collapse was over and done with, and that's why numerous survivors made it out of the lowest six floors of WTC1 when the stairwells in the core survived after collapse was complete. The floors sheared off and pancaked first, and the core and perimeter columns only followed them down when enough vertical extent was left without lateral stiffeners. If there was any conspiracy at all, it was between the Port Authority and the fireporoofing contractors. One of these, with long standing mob ties, was found shot multiple times, in the WTC oparking garage. |
