Background: I own a twin house on a corner lot. I live in the half opposite the corner, the other side is currently non-occupied. Over the weekend we went out to Centralia and then stopped to get food and then we went to Walmart. we get back well after dark fell. Get home and theres a light on in the non-occupied side of the house, its the middle bedroom on the second floor. No one has keys to this side of the house. Parked in front and ran into my side to get my P95 and my light. Entered the other house through the back door and checked the cellar. All clear. Carefully check all rooms and and call out to see who if anyone is there. Get all the way up to the attack and no one is in the house. Nothing looked tampered with either. Tried to turn off the light and it wont turn off, had to unscrew the light bulb. Cheap "made in China" wall sconce (former owner had good taste What round is better for ghost 9mm or .40 ? Or will the electromagnetic pulse wave from the racking of my Mossy 500 destroy the paranormal activity and thus provide me with peace? If any good comes of this I just convinced my Wife its good to have a gun accessible at all times. Cause trouble never makes an appointment. |

My guess is the cooler weather caused a piece of metal in the defective switch to contract and close the circuit. It happened to my horn switch once in the dead of winter...at 3AM. My neighbors must have thought I went apes**t because when the circuit was closed for awhile it would warm up, go off, and then the cycle would repeat. It sounded like I was blowing the horn repeatedly.

Waiting for some vacation time to accrue to get my carry permit, till then I try to keep a gun secured but still close to the front door. |
Sounds like a fire hazard if nothing else. Do you have seperate breaker boxes, so you can turn off the offending circuit? |
Electronics work on magic in the form of smoke. If you let the smoke out, things stop working. |
