How much electricity does it take to charge a normal size cell phone daily? Would you ever notice it on your electric bill? I know someone with an employee that wants extra money to pay for the electricity that is required to charge the company cell phone. Sounds kinda nutty to me since the employee can use the cell phone for personal business if he wants to. For the record, I charge my work phone and don't expect anything extra for it. Danny |
Thanks for the info! I figured around .70+/- cents a month. And thats charging for 8 hours every day. the charger is 110volt and .3 amps. Matthew, that looks like a good project, might try that myself. Thanks guys. Danny |
Check out Amazon, there are different size solar cells you can use. I was going to go with a larger 15W panel. Maybe a couple more batteries, so I can leave it outside for a few days to charge up, then pull it inside to charge my little things on. |
