Anyone have any recommendations on good quality motion sensing lights.  What I would really like to be able to do is replace my existing lights with motion sensing units that would still let me turn on the lights form the light switch.
The only units that I have seen that seem to have this function use x10 as the remote trigger.  In the past I have been very unhappy with x10 products.
I am looking for a quality unit but I would like to spend less then $200 per light.
So far the best I have found is RAB lighting.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Most of the photo/PIR sensor lights allow you to override the sensor assembly by "flicking" the light switch twice. Switching it off, waiting 10-30 seconds and then turning it back on reverts to "normal" (sensed) mode.

Just FYI. No specific brand recc, but like anything else, stay away from the $9.99 PRC specials.

Hmm I have never seen that feature on a light.

Just put up a pair of them last weekend. Got them at Home Depot for like $24 bucks each, and it took all of 30 mins to put up both.

look here:

Leave the switch in the on position for automatic operation, if you want to turn the lights on manually, just turn the switch off for a couple of seconds, then turn it back on, and lights are on.

To put them back into auto mode, turn the switch off again for a couple of seconds, then turn it back on, and you are in auto mode.

Had that problem at a customer's house after a momentary power outage many years ago. I think the designers did it as some form of  'failsafe' feature.
