They are mostly being used for supply chain management for companies like Walmart. They are being tested for gathering info on shopping habits in a handful of retail stores. They also use them in the tap-and-go gas cards. I wouldn't worry about the conspiracy nerds. If someone really wanted to track you it wouldn't be that hard without rfid. |

Learn more from this site: www.spychips.com I have met the founders. I would recommend reading Albrechts book, "Spychips" cover to cover. She also has a radio show that you can listen to here: mp3.wtprn.com/Albrecht07.html Get informed. The book will be an eye-opener. Before you dismiss it as paranoia, watch www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA4kdbuunrY |
| There are lots of different types of RFID tags. Some are passive and some are active. There has bee great advancements over that past year or so in the technology. The big problem is to make one small so it can be implanted the range is to short to be read by a decoder. Things could change with advancements, but than there are a lot of other real threats out there to worry about., like Hillary becoming the POTUS. |
Albrecht is an alarmist looney tunes woman that is making a good living trying to scare people with invented horror stories that RFID tags can read your mind, steal your soul, attract black helicopters, cause cavities and just about any othjer story that can be invented. She never lets facts, science or the laws of physics get in the way of a good RFID horror story. If you belive any of the manure she peddles as fact - you deserve whatever you get. |
Yeah, right next to the article claiming that chupacabras cause adult ADD.
