I freely admit that I'm an Irish fan, always have been.  As far as being overrated, they aren't even in the top 25 this year and rightfully so.  I'd be surprised if they go .500 this year.  Ohio State doesn't look too hot and Henne is still making bad decisions for the Wolverines.  Penn State looked O.K. and I hope they improve.

When will the world admit the Big 10 (and its little bitch, ND) is an over-rated bunch of hype and stop taking 7 mediocre teams from the Big 10 and automatically putting them in the top 25.
How many times do they have to lose to other conferences before this point is made?
SEC is by FAR the strongest conference.

Let me start by saying I am NO fan of your LSU Tigers...but I think they have a legit shot this year.  That said...ND is not the ONLY media darlings as of late.  I'm so tired of hearing how USC has the best team in the country.  PAC 10 is a joke.  So is the Big 10.  Ohio State is the only decent team outa there.  I thought it was funny as hell that when USC and Texas played for the national champ. 2 weeks before the game all you heard on ESPN was that "this USC team is the greatest team of all time"  Comparing them to the Notre Dames and Miamis of old.  WHAT A CROCK!  Then Texas upsets them. LOL.  Too funny.  Everytime I see a media darling go down, I love it!!  

ND sucks, USC sucks, Mich sucks, Ohio State sucks....Hate em all!

During halftime of the Tenn-Cal game, one of the announcers (Flutie?) said that ND would be lucky to win 2 of its first 8 games, and a 0-8 start was a real possibility! In the big name SEC programs, that would get a coach fired.

I live in Granger, a small unincorporated town that's part of the South Bend metro area.  Out and about this morning, every other person was wearing green ND t-shirts.  Lots of out-of-state plates on cars today, too!
