[ARCHIVED THREAD] - MS WORD Help Please

Somehow I have those symbols that notate a new paragraph (looks like a backwards "P" with 2 vertical lines)and lines and whatnot on my MS Word whenver I'm typing a document. How do I get rid of those on my screen?
