As a Cincinnatian, I hereby decree that: Skyline Chili is the absolute worst of all the chains. It is watered down, uses inferior beef, and generally tastes like crap. Their cheese is the only thing that makes their food edible. I also hereby decree that the acceptable chains are: Dixie Chili, followed by Empress and Gold Star. It shall be forever remembered that Skyline sucks ass. Miller Chill should be similarly banned. It sucks. Witness my hand and seal of this court. Collin |

I normally drink Dos Equis when I drink beer, but I bought some for the first time while on vacation a couple weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good and I'd buy it again. However, I do prefer bourbon to any beer. ETA: I was reluctant to buy it because I had tried that Tequiza shit and it was nasty. It tastes nothing like Tequiza to me. |

Hey, Just a preemptive strike before someone invariably says, "Just because their billboards are in Spanish and they come out with a Mexican style beer doesn't mean they pander to illegals." michellemalkin.com/2006/09/01/illegal-alien-marchsponsored-by-miller-beer/ www.millerboycott.com/ Kevin "Se habla fuck you." |

I've tried it, it was warm when I tried it, but it was OK. I won't buy it though, unless it is super super cheap(and it isn't). We sell a LOT of it at the store where I work, always girls buying it, or guys buying it for their girlfriends(when they come in there together). |
Its that it looks cool and tasty, everyone wants to try. After they try, they turn away. |
![]() I must say I do kinda like the Sam Adams "Summer Ale" |
Im serious. It is pretty much a gimmick. Shit dude all I do is sell and move beer around at work. I saw it and was like "GOT TO TRY" it is still |
Good that they went back to BL though! I guess its like many other specialty and new beers out there. The brewers keep coming up with more specialty and "import" brands to compete with the growing specialty/import market from the micro brewers. They sell ok on the initial push, then die off, then come back on a small (sometimes) upward trend, or are D/C'd. |
AB dominates the beer market!! I would guess %60-70 of AB sales are bud light. |
I agree with you, their marketing was pretty good. Bud Light rules my bar. But Budweiser has picked up in a big way. I'd say 90% of all the beer served is Budweiser products I've got a crew of Dykes on Bikes that swing by once a week and swill Red Stripes, One guy that drinks nothing but Rolling Rock(a case at a sitting), every now and then someone will want a Heiniken or Lowenbrau. St Patty's day is Killian's and Guinness day. And Yuengling and Miller Lite for the yuppys. Oh...and the occasional Coors Light gang
|
When I want to drink beer, I will drink beer. I will not drink a watered down version of it. Beer is beer and light beer is NOT beer. Whatever floats their boats I guess. Bud light is my choice for light beer, but I normally find the whole idea of drinking it shameful. |
AB has around (a little over) 50% of US beer sales. I'll see if I can find the numbers on Bud Light sales Monday... Not something I keep track of really. |
Ok?
|
|
I would have thought it was higher than %50. Though my friend did say in California Corona sales are much higher than AB/Bud. Maybe when it is figured out nation wide it is only %50 Around here I would guess it to be about %75 of all beer sales. |
If I had to drink Corona, I'd put lime in it too. Maybe even lemon and any other fruit I could think off so I didn't have to taste that horse piss. |
![]() If I "have to" drink it, its getting something in it. I despise clear or green bottled beer, it skunks way to easily. |
I have had four types of beer tonight. Budweiser Miller Chill Broken Halo Pale Ale and Alaskan Silver Gulch Broken halo is a beer to enjoy. Its good. Budweiser is my drink of choice. |
