It's not because I'm cheap.

These things just work best for me. I've tried electric razors, double and triple-edged blades, "sensitive skin" razors, and a whole variety of shaving creams/gels. I've tried to pamper myself, but I also know what I like.

Costs less than $1 a month.

What do you guys do?

ETA: Fixed to include the Bic Original razor (one of the great things from France)

2 cans of barbasol? And what? Do you just rip the hair out? I guess that's manly, but the stupid kind of manly.

I don't get it.  Do you run around with shaving cream on your face?

ETA:  OK, you have the picture of the razors up now.  That makes a lot more sense.

I wanna get electrolysis for my neck.  I can use just any blade on my face, but my neck gets cut up/ingrown hairs from the worst and the best blades.

I've tried the Barbasol and it really is quite good. I would put it as my second choice. The one that is the best?  Noxema for sensitive skin, in the red can. I've tried tons of different ones and nothing else beats it.

Just kidding, I use a quatro with the soap and brush.

Same thing for me, except for the knife.

I use an old Atra razor.

You fellows that haven't tried soap and a brush are missing something.

When I am giving myself a good shave, I break out the boar brush and shave soap in a mug. Paired with a Mach 3, it works well.

When I'm slumming it, I'll lather up my face in the shower with plan soap and shave in there.

cheap and proud
china mug
badger hair brush
Ivory Soap, makes lots of lather
double edge safety razor
picked up 2000 blades at an auction a few years ago for 20 bucks.

I use barbasol (sp?) as well, I've tried a few other brands, and I like it the best.

i use a mach 3, though... they sent it to me for free when I was 18 I think.  the single blade razors just can't handle my manly beard.

I use either a Mach 3 or a Gillette Sensor.  I have cheapo electric razor that I use maybe once a month.

I actually kinda miss the days of only having to shave once a week

$.88 can of barbasol and a safety razor, I have to change blades everyother day or so, so it's a bit more than a buck a month or sometimes I use strait razor when I'm not too lazy to pay a little attention.

barbasol and a mach 3 ultra for me.

i'd like to try a "barber style" straight blade but haven't read enough on it, nor seen how to properly use one with out slicing myself... yet.

I use a Mach 3 and some Gel stuff.

I did cheap shave when I was in the Army,

$10 a month or so... worth it to me.

I hate to say it, but one of those blades lasts me almost a month.

They're magical!
