Whats been going on?  For me, its like the night before the storm. My busiest weekend of this year starts in a few hours, and I'm all amped up on nerves, adrenaline, and fear.  What are you all up to? |
I still have to get through the next 2ish days, then I'm off for 3 weeks. What sucks, is that I've been so busy, I haven't made many plans for that time. I did book a cruise for 4 days towards the end of it...but I need to fill the rest of the time off. Though, right now, I'd almost like to just melt at the beach every day for a week. |

I'm a bail bondsman, & our company has had our license for our county temporally suspended for the month of Aug. Just some BS from the local bail bonds board as we are the top office so some of the good folks on the board are out to shut us down. Some of our compatition is on the board. It's all picky oone stuff. We had a 7 month no license stretch from last Oct to last May for the same type of BS. Fortunately for me the boss keeps me employed & working even though the most I might have to do is a small amount of paper work & take a payment if someone shows up on my shift. I have a really good boss. |
I'll be driving out to his place in September, and I'll broadcast the trip. Since I'll be arriving on a Friday night, I'll no doubt broadcast the drunken debauchery from his basement. I suddenly got pretty busy at work (and my in laws are visiting for a while), so I kinda have to cut the weekday broadcasts back a little. I've got some entertaining ones in the works, though.... |

I ALWAYS seemed to log on, when it was done. I think I caught one broadcast in real time, and I was very busy working on "work" at the time, and couldn't keep up. In a few days I'll be booking travel for the next quarter, and actually might be able to make the Sept party.

No shit?  Man oh man, I hope you can make it. This will be our last "league" shoot of the year, and it's going to be a huge party, live music and everything. You are GUARANTEED to have the time of your life. We all love Swingset dearly. He's a hell of a good host. |
My woman and I are going to try to make it Friday night for the next shoot. (no, not glimmerman) I will damn sure be more prepared for the rain. You probably would have enjoyed it. One brave soul decided to sleep out on the ground (MrSparkle), and me, being tired and 1/2 drunk, decided just to leave the rain cover off the tent. About the time that MrSparkle was getting in his car to sleep, the rain water finally leaked far enough in my tent to wake me up. It must have been a funny sight with me, outside in the rain at 4:30am, in my underwear, trying to drag a tarp over top of my tent.  swingset, Bullet, and Pudwak were all fast asleep by this time.  |
No shit!! I've been way to buried with work to even think past this weekend, for weeks. When its over, I'll be back to normal. C invited me to ohiofest, and I'm kinda thinking of going.

Ug. Summer flus are the worst!  Start drinking water now. Manage the fever too, with tylenol. Hope you feel better tomorrow, and this was a one day thing. :) |

At work, watching systems, watching NASA watch the shuttle, should be doing research, have done sme, but not to the EXTENT that I should, looking at my watch, counting down the hours, drinking coffee from a coffee mug that is spilling drips on my wooly pully. That's one thing about the previous mentioned tactical shirts; they keep you warm.
