| In the pics of the boys taking care of shit over yonder they all have Aimpoints, did I F up by getting a Eotech? |
|
The pictures of SF guys I see have lots of facial hair, did I F up by shaving this morning? Just messing with ya. Do your research and find out what works best for you, and what you want. Do you want longer battery life? How do you want to mount it? What cowitness do you want to have? Do you like the eotech reticle or the aimpoints better? Etc.. |
The one photo thread that was atop the board this morning, as well as alot of pics I have seen in the past. Since I got the Eotech I notice ALL optics on harware. I know the Eotech is good, I do like it, I think I'm just being a tactigoon.

The EOTech is a great piece of hardware. I've been using tube-dot optics for a long time, so when the EOTech first appeared in the US as the Bushnell Holosight, I wasn't impressed. I wasn't shielded and the membrane switches were a nightmare waiting to happen. The latest EOTech models have shielding for the screen and much better buttons than before. Very rugged and many prefer it to the Aimpoints. My next build many just include an EOTech because I've had just about everything else (Aimpoint, ACOG, Acog Reflex, etc.). |

I use iron sites only Putting glass on a gun to improve your shooting means you cant shoot worth a crap. Eo, aimpoint guy myself. I use the aim point more. Thinking of selling the Eo. hahahahaha, Say Putting and think of how it sounds, putting, putting, putting hahahahahaha. I need to get out of the server room and talk with people... PUTTING! |
