I need an opinion from you guys. This morning I was in the garden & squatted down. I then got a pain in the left side of the back of my knee. It was so bad, I almost threw up. If I bend it more than 10 degrees or so, it makes me want to puke. Got ice on it & keeping it straight. Doesn't hurt too bad when it's straight. No swelling yet.

Anyone got an opinion what I have done to it?

Thanks guys. And gals.

Does your lower back hurt too?

No just the back of my knee. If I bend over the pain in the knee is almost enough to make me pass out.

I had a pain similar to that. After an MRI and CT SCAN, Turned out to be deterioration of the joint lining and a small cyst called bakers cyst.(caused by swelling pushing out the backside of the knee).  Basically severe arthritis. Solved with shots of SYNVISC ( joint lube ) Lasts 6-8 months and thankful my insurance covers it, $400 shots 3X. If it gets worse then possible surgery.

You need to get an MRI. I blew my knee out in June. I had never had any knee trouble in my life. I am not overweight or anything. All I did was stand up with all my weight on my left leg on a steep hill. WHAMMO! Tore my cartilage.

That happened to me when I was 15.
