How many guns do you need before the ATF says that you are stockpiling guns and breaks your door down and hauls you off to jail? Just wondering because my brother in law keeps saying that this will happen to me, and he said that you only need 6 handguns or 6 rifles before you are “officially stockpiling weapons” I think he’s full of it, but he insists that it’s true. ![]() Can someone clear this up for me? Are there really a certain number of guns you can have before you become a marked man by the ATF? |
GodDamned Ska. That's the kinda collection I want.... |
Yeah it WAS the collection I always wanted too! |
|
I'd broken the 6 and 6 mark by age 23. I think what your hinting at has more to do with active participation in a group. Religous nuts like in WACO, publicly anti-government groups, nieghborhood militias etc. These groups would store arms just in case. Just be mindful of what you say in public or who you admit to interacting with. Not saying surrounding yourself with a group of likeminded people is bad it just leaves people to assume things and when you factor in something as Un-PC as firearms you will draw LE heat. |
Damn man...that looks like a .38 but it is HUGE. Its bigger than your 10/22 even!!!! -Ben |
|
I think it's safe to assume that SkagSig40 likes.....errrrrrrr make that "liked" Smith and Wesson 3rd Generation stainless pistols. FWIW, so do I. Those are some very underrated guns that are as tough and reliable as anything out there, yet very affordably priced, especially if you buy used. |
Tell him to show it to you in print... put up or shut up. He won't be able to. |
Better yet, just tell him that he is full of shit |
You bitch, I was going to use that joke. |
Don't you just hate a damn showoff? |
Now that's stockpiling. You've piled rifles on top of other rifles. There's obviously something unbalanced about someone who has that many similar rifles, but not a handgun to be found anywhere. |
Clearly - call the ATF! zOMG! It was a group buy...and I was the group. |
|
Isn't interesting when you read a news story about a mans "cache" of "assault" weapons. Which include 3 rifles and more than one hundred (100) rounds of ammunition. The first thing that I say to myself is: "c'mon now! a brick of .22lr is...........ah, forget it." |
Probably more like 9/10ths of all, but I like your reasoning...........we will be ready when the undead rise up
|
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does those types of group buys. |
I wish. It's actually a regular sized .38 and a wee-little tiny 10/22. I figured a regular 10/22 was far too dangerous. |
Wow, that's a stockpile. Do you just buy them in bulk? |
"OSSINING, New York- A former elderly home employee who was fired after allegedly threatening to shoot co-workers....." IMO, you have do something to get yourself "on the radar" first. |
H_B_R you and I always seem to agree |
