I just bought a new house. Its about 5 yrs old out in the country and I have no water pressure. The house was vacant for about a year or more, the water was shut off the whole time. Are you supposed to pressurize the bladder tank? How much? What else could it be? If I have to take one more weak ass shower there will be a house for sale. Thanks for any help. |
| Make sure the main supply valve is turned all the way on. Check any other valves on main supply to house. Have water pressure checked at the meter by the water dept, if OK then see if your presure regulator is working. I have no idea what a bladder tank is, don't have those down here. |
You have them when the supply is from a well. Check the bladder air pressure. Should be in the 20-35 PSI range. If there is any water at the air fill, the bladder is shot. It can be replaced but if the bladder has been bad for a while, the tank is usually rusted out. Replace the tank and charge per instructions. I'll assume there is water supply.
